Delivering Quality Homes Handbook - a GLA primer

GLA

What We Did

The GLA is seeking to enhance the quality of the new homes which it funds via its public sector delivery partners. They asked Claire to write the ‘Delivering Quality Homes Handbook’ which shows councils and HAs 50 ways in which they can improve their culture, people and processes to achieve higher quality new homes. The handbook also contains insights, images and data from eight ‘case study clients’ around the UK. The handbook has been piloted by four GLA partners, who created organisation-specific improvement plans which responded to prompts in the handbook.

I’m really pleased with how the handbook came out. I think the positive feedback we’ve had shows what a good and relevant piece of work it is. You were the perfect person for the project – for your knowledge of the subject, and your ability to clearly and convincingly present it.
— Alison Mayer, Senior Area Manager, GLA Housing and Land
