What we did

Be First is working through its regeneration of the Gascoigne Estate, working with high quality design teams and other partners. Municipal is working on Phase 3A with Pitman Tozer Architects to enhance the processes and information provided to contractors post-planning. The aim is to ensure that design quality is retained through to completion, whilst achieving value for money and buildability. This project is now nearly complete. We undertook the following work:

  • A workshop with Be First development staff and Pitman Tozer

  • A review of the drawn information for tender

  • A proposal for additional drawings which were needed

  • A review of the final drawing set

  • A table showing the details the contractor would be expected to provide during the contract period
