New quality standards for Southwark Council
What we did
Following Municipal’s Delivering Quality Review, LB Southwark made a bid to the GLA for funding to refresh its Employer’s Requirements and Design Standards. The two documents are now completely up to date and streamlined to suit new regulations, new standard which Southwark wished to set, and to reflect resident feedback from completed schemes. We undertook the following work:
Led a team with Calford Seaden and Pitman Tozer Architects to ensure cost, contract and design were factored in
Led workshop sessions with staff from across Southwark’s Housing, Asset Management and Planning teams
Reviewed resident feedback from numerous completed LBS schemes
Reviewed every standard and ER clause, creating a more logical sequence of standards
